A PDF knitting pattern for a baby aviator hat with chin strap and button fastening. The pattern includes 4 sizes from birth to 2 years. The hat can be knit either flat on two straight needles or in the round. Instructions are given for both methods.

PATTERN DETAILS:

  • SIZES: newborn - 2 yrs

  • YARN: DK weight yarn

  • NEEDLES: 3.25 mm (US 3), 4 mm (US 6)

  • TENSION/GAUGE: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (4") in stocking stitch (stockinette)
